      The largest dam on the Fox River is located near Dayton, Illinois and is the last dam before the river reaches the Illinois River. That dam is 38 feet high and is one of the few dams in this area that generate hydroelectric power. Indians that lived along the Fox River in .   Georgia's natural resources include fourteen river basins, which support a rich diversity of native fish and mussel species. A river basin consists of the entire geographic area (hillside, valley, plain) from which water flows into the primary river, which is made up of .

      The Upper and Lower Colorado River basins are also exposed and stand out in bright yellow. Green identifies the Souris-Red-Rainy Basin and the Great Lake Basins. Blue indicates the Rio Grande, which reaches all the way down to the bottom of Texas. Half of the sites monitored in the Upper White River Basin were in the Beaver Lake watershed. Of the 11 sites receiving an overall “A” grade, 10 were in this region.

        Fox (IL) River The Fox basin is located in southeastern Wisconsin and is located in portions of seven counties but mainly consists of Waukesha, Walworth, Racine and Kenosha counties.
